1. Information We Collect

We collect information to run and personalize the App:

• Device identifier — a unique ID for your device/install, used for guest sessions before you create a full account.
• Account info — email address and name, collected when you sign in with Apple or Google.
• Practice progress — flows and courses completed, streaks, badges earned, levels, session duration and timestamps.
• Mood & intake data — the mood check-ins, intake questionnaire answers, and preferences you provide, used to personalize sessions and (where enabled) inform PEARL, our AI coach.
• Subscription & purchase data — entitlement status and transaction identifiers from Apple/Google/RevenueCat (we do not receive your full payment card details — those are handled by Apple/Google).
• Usage & diagnostic data — basic app usage events and crash/performance data, used to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to: provide and personalize the App's flows, courses, and progress features; power the PEARL AI coach's suggestions and responses based on the mood/intake context you share; manage your account, entitlements, and subscription; maintain security and prevent abuse; and understand aggregate usage to improve the App.

PEARL AI note: when you interact with PEARL, relevant context (such as recent mood/intake and practice history) may be sent to our AI service providers to generate a response. This data is used to power that feature — see Section 1 for what's collected and the Terms of Service for what PEARL is (and isn't).

3. Data Retention

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, so your progress and history persist across sessions. If you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly de-identify this data from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we're legally required to retain limited records (e.g. financial/audit logs), which we keep only as long as required and scrub of personal identifiers where possible.

4. Your Rights: Access, Export & Deletion

You can request an export of your account data (profile, intake responses, subscription history, practice progress, and usage events) and you can permanently delete your account, both from within the App. Deletion is confirmed with a re-authentication step for security and is not reversible.

5. Third-Party Services

We share the minimum data necessary with service providers who help us run the App, including: Apple/Google (sign-in, app store purchases), RevenueCat (subscription/entitlement management), our video/streaming provider (secure delivery of practice content), our AI service providers (PEARL responses), and product-analytics tooling (aggregate, privacy-respecting usage insight). These providers are contractually limited to using data to provide services to us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age of digital consent.

7. International Data Transfers

We are based in, and primarily process data in, [JURISDICTION]. If you access the App from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in [JURISDICTION].
